My mom LOVES musicals and growing up our house was filled with the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein. We would make annual trips to New York to see a Broadway show. It was just a special time for the two of us. We don't make it down to New York as much anymore, but any time a show comes to Boston, I make sure to try and get tickets for my mom. For Christmas, I purchased tickets to see Mary Poppins. I really wasn't sure if I'd actually enjoy this show, but bought tickets for my mom because I knew she'd have a blast! I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy every second! Of course, a great group tap dance sequence never hurts;) We started the night out with dinner and dessert at Finale and had the best. dessert. ever. YUM YUM YUM!
The show was held at the Boston Opera House, the best place to see a show in the city, in my opinion.
I had a great weekend. I got to spend time with the hubby, the puppy and my mom. I feel so refreshed and ready to take on the week.
