Hi Everyone! I hope this week finds you well. I've had my hands full with a puppy whose goal in life is to make sure that I get NO work done. I place her in her crate and I go upstairs to work only to be distracted seconds later by sweet little whimpers from the living room. And who can blame her? I want to play too!

Last week, we dropped the puppy off at a friends to make the drive down to New Haven, Connecticut to meet with Justin and Mary, two of the top wedding photographers in the industry. They challenged us, stretched us, and inspired us to think big! As part of our time together, I was asked to create a list of goals that I'd like to achieve. It took a while to come up with this list, as I've never really allowed myself to dream big. Dreaming for a new cardigan from The Loft, sure, but dreams of a incredibly successful business, well that took a little bit more thought.

Part of those goals that we discussed related to teaching and encouraging. My mom is a teacher and I've always admired her ability to be able to break things down in to bite size pieces, making the learning process more fun and enjoyable. And while I always said that I never wanted to become a teacher, the times that I have been to help others have been some of the most gratifying and encouraging moments of my life. Slowly I've come to realize, that while I don't want to be an elementary teacher, I do want to be able to help others, encourage others and teach others the things that people have taken the time to teach me.
