Cozy Winter Newborn Session At Home

Last fall I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful family when we connected to photograph their updated family portraits. Just a few short months later, Lindsay reached back out to share that they were expecting a baby and would love to capture all the joy of welcoming their daughter into world. Of course I was thrilled to have this amazing family in front of my camera once again to document every snuggly moment with their newest arrival. Caroline & and her little girl braved a blustery day earlier this spring for a sweet and simple Motherhood Session at Crane Beach in Ipswich, Massachusetts. I was honored to capture Caroline and her curly haired cutie and the very special bond they share together.

Backyard Newborn Portraits

2020 reconnected me with lots of past clients, many who were celebrating the growth of their family. When Kerin reached out to share that she and Ryan were expecting their first baby, I was thrilled to help them celebrate a life’s milestone. From engagement to their wedding in Newport and now the arrival of their son, it was such a wonderful full circle moment to document this new stage in their lives.

New Hampshire Maternity Portraits

I first met Steph and Rick for their engagement session over 5 years ago (still remains one of my very favorites!) and later helped them celebrate their backyard wedding at her childhood home. They have continued to invite me into their lives to celebrate their maternity & newborn session and so I was beyond THRILLED when Steph reached out last year sharing that they were expecting their third child and wanted to celebrate with a maternity session!

Fall Motherhood Sessions | North Shore Family Photographer

Ever since first introducing the Motherhood Sessions last spring I have been overwhelmed with the love and support for the vision behind these sessions. This past fall I welcomed several Mamas and their beautiful families to have their photograph taken. The result was some of my favorite portraits, representing the special bond that these Mom’s share with their families.

Singing Beach Family Photos

I first connected with Melissa when she reached out to me on Instagram. She had seen a recent family session that I had photographed at Singing Beach in Manchester and immediately connected with the vision of a modern lifestyle session at the beach. We picked a beautiful evening in August and enjoyed a quiet Singing Beach together. The waves gently rolled into shore and their darling daughter laughed with delight as she dipped her toes into the Atlantic Ocean.

Spring Motherhood Sessions

I am beyond thrilled to announce that the Motherhood Sessions are returning this spring on April 4th. This year’s sessions will be hosted at the new studio and work space The Newburyport Studio - a gorgeous, light filled space with charming architectural details and character.
