2020 reconnected me with lots of past clients, many who were celebrating the growth of their family. When Kerin reached out to share that she and Ryan were expecting their first baby, I was thrilled to help them celebrate a life’s milestone. From engagement to their wedding in Newport and now the arrival of their son, it was such a wonderful full circle moment to document this new stage in their lives.
Due to Covid we had to get creative when it came to planning their newborn session. Typically newborn sessions are done inside the comfort of home but with so much uncertainty (at that point) around working safely indoors we decided that their backyard would be the perfect location. And I have to say, I absolutely loved the results!
With all my newborn sessions what I want to convey the most is the unconditional love that parents have for their little ones. Especially for first time parents, the introduction of a little one brings change and adjustment. But it also brings a magic and love that you never thought you could experience. I hope just a little bit of that magic and awe comes through in these images.
