Mike & Kate's Engagement at Lynch Park in Beverly

I've known Kate since high school. We would double date together, giggling as our dates talked sports or whatever was on their mind, while Kate and I would chat about everything girls in high school chat about. We had a lot of fun together.  Fast forward ten years. I've been married for almost five years and Kate just recently became engaged. We had lost touch over time but thanks to Facebook we managed to find each other. Kate who is getting married next year, contacted me about shooting her engagement session and I immediately said yes. I was so excited to document the start of her new life with Mike. To see our lives come full circle from giddy high school girls double dating on Friday nights to mature grown up woman has been surreal! Kate and Mike wanted to have their engagement session at Lynch Park in Beverly. The park is on the water, a perfect fitting for them considering their wedding will be on the Cape. Mike and Kate, I wish you all the best! And thanks to Facebook I can't wait to stalk you as you plan your wedding;)

It was surreal being here as this was one of my old stomping grounds when I worked for The Salem News, not to mention that I grew up coming to this park every summer!
