With roots that run deep across the island of Nantucket, Alex & Tom invited their guests to celebrate and enjoy everything that they love about Nantucket with a mid island welcome party on Nantucket. To kick off their wedding weekend, they invited their loved ones to a casual backyard celebration at Alex’s family home. Guests were treated to a starry night sky where they enjoyed tacos catered by the popular Millie’s restaurant. It was a quintessential Nantucket welcome party filled with the hospitality and New England charm that Nantucket is famous for.

A Relaxed Backyard Feel

It was important to Alex and Tom to make each moment with their guests feel personal and meaningful. Having met on the island of Nantucket they both wanted to celebrate their deep ties to the island. Hosting their welcome party in the backyard of her parent’s home ensure that their guests felt at home. As the sun dipped beyond the horizon guests mix and mingled in the front lawn, around the fire pit and inside the charming Nantucket cottage. It was the perfect way to kick off their wedding weekend on Nantucket.
