Fall will always remind me of Ben and Kristen’s autumnal celebration in the heart of Vermont. The crisp fall day with its golden hues of foliage actually turned into one of the rainiest weddings I’ve had in my 15 year career.
As I was posing the couple under the overhang of a barn, Ben said something to me that made me pause. “We made peace with the weather days ago and we’re just going to enjoy every minute of our day no matter what.”
No matter what the day had in store, Ben and Kristen were determined to embrace every minute of their wedding day. They wanted to remember that day with a smile and I was honored to capture those memories for them.
Ben and Kristen wanted their day to reflect the beauty that is Vermont in the fall. Incorporating hues of grays and burgundy as well as carefully selected wildflowers throughout, brought their vision to life. They treated their guests to a seated dinner, draped with sheer burgundy linens and enveloped in a canopy of twinkle lights. The result was a romantic and intimate setting that fit perfectly with the cozy, rain fall day outside.
