Hannah & Rob’s wedding day was a dream come true and not just because of the epic feat it was to bring this day together in the height of the Covid crisis. From start to finish the day was beautifully executed by Hannah’s sister and planner Kate of Kate Evans Events with gorgeous details throughout. Add in the fact that Hannah and Rob are one of the sweetest and most welcoming couples, well it made capturing their day an absolute dream.
As head of Boston University’s Covid response team, Hannah knew a thing or two about hosting an event during this unprecedented time and ensured that her guests were not only safe but had a great time celebrating too. Having had almost an entire year off at that point from capturing a wedding day, it was a thrill to document Hannah & Rob’s day - masks, Covid tests, temperature checks and all.
Having visited the Cliff House as a child, Hannah had fallen in love with this magnificent resort on the rocky cliffs of Maine. Directly on the water, the property offers sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean with dramatic rocky cliffs (hence Cliff House), dramatic waves and gorgeous sunsets. As a lover of the ocean, it was a dream to work in such gorgeous New England scenery with a couple who appreciated it’s beauty just as much.
