On a beautiful summer morning just after sunrise I met Katie & Matt in a very special place near Katie’s family home in Marblehead, Goldthwait Reservation.. With the light sparkling over the water and the sound of the waves gently rolling over the sea worn rocks, it was truly an idyllic setting for this New England coast loving couple!
Because of the pandemic Katie & Matt had recently moved in with Katie’s parents making Marblehead even more special for the couple. Originally planned to marry in Marblehead in 2020, they postponed their celebration until 2021. On the weekend they were originally to wed, they decided to celebrate in a different way, with an engagement session!
Marblehead is one of the most historic towns on the North Shore. Full of coastal New England charm, Marblehead offers sweeping views of the Atlantic, hidden coastal coves, beautiful beaches and lots and lots of charm - just a few of the many reasons Katie and Matt love this area!
I can’t wait to continue the celebration with them later this year but I have to admit their engagement session was a pretty great way to kick things off!
