Idyllic Fall Family Session at Wright Locke Farm

What can I say about this beautiful family?! I have had the joy of knowing Aubrey for many years now (how is that even possible?) and documenting her growing family year after year. After our session together this year, I went back and looked through the images we've taken together. It has been amazing to watch as her darling baby boy has grown into a sweet kiddo and as they welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world. For this year's session we met at the idyllic Wright Locke Farm on a beautiful fall morning. We wandered the property as the kids explored to their hearts content. It was a joy to help them celebrate another year together with photography. I'm so grateful for the clients and families who value the importance photography and ask me to help them document the meaningful moments of life together!! Enjoy some of my faves!!

Fall Wedding in Western Massachusetts

I first met Shannon & Ryan at Lauren and Marshall's wedding last year, so when they contacted me about their September wedding the following year I was thrilled!! It's almost hard to believe that their wedding day has come and gone - and what a day it was!! Shannon chose a palette of pinks and deep blue which fit perfectly for their industrial inspired day. It was a joy to celebrate alongside the happy couple as well as with their family and loved ones. They truly are a beloved couple!! Enjoy some of my favorites from their day!!

Fall Engagement Session at Crane Beach in Ipswich

Kaitlyn and Doug love being by the water -- a couple after my own heart!! She knew that she wanted her engagement session to have a romantic beachy vibe and gave me the opportunity to suggest a location. Of course I knew the perfect place, our favorite beach, Crane Beach in Ipswich!!

On an unseasonably warm (theme of the fall!) September evening we enjoyed a beautifully quiet session together on the beach. As the sky turned to a soft blue and pink hue Kaitlyn and Doug cuddled together, sand between their toes. It was such a joyful session and I can't wait to celebrate with them come next September when they tie the know!! Enjoy a few of my favorite images!!

Fall Wedding at Misselwood Estate in Beverly, Massachusetts

Michelle & Steve welcomed the day with near perfect weather. While it seems like such a cliche thing to mention, when you live in New England and the weather can turn on a dime, you are ever so thankful when you are greeted with such a beautiful day as this the morning of a wedding. Greeted at the water with a warm breeze, Misselwood Estate provided the perfect location for Michelle & Steve's guests to enjoy this glorious New England fall day. The lawn at Misselwood provided guests with sweeping views of the harbor side as tiny sailboats dotted the horizon. The sun slowly set leaving behind a golden glow that set the feeling for cocktail hour. Paired with all the rose gold details a girl could dream of, this photographer was in heaven!!

Private Estate Wedding on Boston's North Shore

I knew from our initial meeting together that Jared & Willoughby were going to plan an incredible wedding day, beginning with the location for their celebration. Hosted on Willoughby's family farm, Jared & Will thoughtfully planned their wedding to emphasize and celebrate the beautiful location and the natural beauty that encompassed the area, something very important to them. They also wanted to ensure that their guests were given a meaningful and memorable experience. Working with the amazing team at Chive Events they pulled together a breathtaking celebration that focused on sustainable and locally sourced details. From the florals to the the food and even the wine served throughout the day, each detail was thoughtfully and carefully chosen for a specific reason.

That is the kind of people Jared & Willoughby are. A couple who are independent and unique in their own right and together bring a sense of purpose and authenticity to whatever situation they are in. I greatly appreciated the thought and care they placed on their wedding day and how they communicated to their guests what this day meant to them as a couple. It was a day to celebrate and bring together their families and loved ones and honor their respective family heritage.

For example, Willoughby wore a family heirloom, her wedding gown. She was the 12th Bride to wear the beautiful gown that has been passed down through the generations from the 19th century. Jared excitedly and ceremoniously cut the wedding cake with a family sword. Willoughby's parents hosted the event on their farm, a piece of property that has been in the family for generations. How meaningful to have so many pieces of family history!!

Willoughby & Jared, thank you for entrusting us to document this special day -- it was incredible!! Enjoy some of my favorite images!!

Providence Public Library Wedding

Danielle and Kyle were drawn to the beauty of the Providence Library and it's architecture. So much so that they decided to host their ceremony in the center of the library, walking down the dramatic staircase to meet one another at the aisle. Having rained on and off throughout the entire day, it seemed serendipitous that they had planned the majority of the day's festivities indoors. And while to some, being indoors might have been a bummer, to Kyle and Danielle, it was the perfect way to share in the beauty of the Library with their guests.

Each member of their families played an important role in their day - from the breaking of a place before the ceremony, to the signing of the ketubah to their ceremony, each aspect of Kyle and Danielle's wedding day was aimed to honor their families and celebrate their two lives becoming one.  What a joy to photograph!

Thank you Kyle & Danielle for including us in your day, it was a treat to watch you bring your families together and to celebrate with your loved ones!! Enjoy some of my favorite images!!

Josselyn and Matthew had a perfect summer wedding. Set on the South Shore of Boston their wedding day was one filled with personal touches like the centerpieces made of flowers picked from their backyard to the hand drawn pictures from her students displayed on the dessert table. Friends and family alike helped bring their day together, a day they had dreamed of for a long time.

Josselyn & Matthew, it was a joy to document your wedding day, to witness as you promised forever to each other and to celebrate alongside your loved ones!! Enjoy some of my favorite images!!

Baby Parker #2 Is A ....

We're SO excited to share that Baby Parker is a GIRL!!! Dave and I found out a week and half ago during our anatomy scan (the big ultrasound they do during the middle of pregnancy to check the baby's organs and growth). We decided we had wanted to find out privately together to have time to process what the sonographer said. That ultrasound was a big milestone for us...one we had been waiting for, for a long, long time. It was a real treat to find out together - after waiting for our miracle baby!!

This past weekend we invited family over for a BBQ to share the news with them!! We had been badgered by close family and friends alike for us to spill the beans (I would have done the same ;)) but we kept our lips sealed -- even Jonathan didn't know!! It was fun to get sprayed in silly string and reveal our baby's gender!!

The question we have been asked so far is do we have a name? And yes, we do. But we're going to sit on it for a while. It's a little different, but we keep coming back to it again and again. Maybe baby girl is trying to tell us something!!

I'm feeling great these days, though I'm missing my waistline. Baby Girl is kicking non stop and is always moving -- we're in trouble!! With each kick and movement I'm reminded of what a miracle this little girl and for how long we have prayed for her. I might be pregnant but definitely I'm feeling all the things!!

We took a short video clip of our reveal with family. Jonathan decided to start yelling at people to stop spraying silly string at him and his Mom -- our "perfect" little moment turned into real life, real fast -- hahaha. Oh memories. Jonathan is really excited for a sister. A few weeks back he changed his wish for a brother to a sister and has never looked back. He must have known!!

Baby Girl Parker is going to be surrounded by a loving clan of boys!! Here are the four cousins!!

Mandarin Oriental Boston Wedding | Younes & Alyssa

Admittedly I had been looking forward to Younes & Alyssa's wedding all year. Ever since I first met them for their engagement session this past winter, I knew that their wedding day was going to be one for the books. Every detail came together perfectly. The Mandarin Oriental did an amazing job of hosting their incredible day and made everyone feel welcome and taken care of.

But more than the details, it was a day of two families from across the world coming together, united through love. It was incredible to watch as Younes & Alyssa promised forever together, while watching their parents look on with amazement. The day they had dreamed of for their children was here -- and Younes & Alyssa couldn't have been happier!!

Both Younes and Alyssa have amazing style so it was no surprised that their details were perfection, from Alyssa's beautiful lace Romona Keveza dress to the tastefully decorated ballroom. They hosted their wedding in downtown Boston offering their guests, many who had never been to Boston before a classic experience.

Thank you Younes & Alyssa for inviting us to be a part of your day -- we had an amazing time documenting every moment and I hope that these images provide you with many happy memories for years to come!!

Summer Wedding at Misselwood Estate at Endicott College

Lauren & Mike had a quintessential New England summer day for their wedding at Misselwood Estate earlier this month. Not a cloud in the sky with a cool breeze that drifted off the water's edge. Lauren and Mike had planned their wedding from Virginia and with the help of Lauren's Mom, every detail came together perfectly on the day of their wedding.

Misselwood Estate is a special place - tucked away on the coast of Beverly it offers spectacular views of Beverly and Salem Harbor and the coastline of Marblehead. For these two, the ocean plays a big part in their relationship and lives (they even named their dog Salty, love it!), so being right on the water was the perfect setting for their wedding. Plus it was a wonderful introduction to New England for their out of state guests.

Lauren & Mike, thank you for inviting my team to be a part of your incredible day. We loved celebrating with you and your loved ones and I hope that these images will serve as precious memories to you in the years to come!! Enjoy some of my favorites!!

Coastal New England Engagement Session

When I asked Josselyn & Matthew if they had any ideas of where they might like their engagement session, immediately the first place that came to their minds was their historic New England home. Filled with charm and gorgeous gardens surrounding the house, it was the perfect backdrop for this sweet couple. Josselyn also wanted to visit the beach, just minutes from their house, incorporating their love for the ocean. It was a joy to photograph this couple at their home, a place where they feel comfortable and themselves. I loved all the nooks we had to explore and their beautifully wood and private lot. These two will be tying the knot in just a few short weeks -- until then enjoy some of my favorite images from their session!!

Jenny & Bradley desired to throw a garden inspired wedding day full of whimsical charm. From the hand made "bunny garden" that held their escort cards to their palette of light blue and pink pastels, their day felt like a fairytale set amongst the beautiful wooded estate of Moraine Farm.

Jenny & Bradley are both dancers, each with their own unique artistic abilities and talents. They thoughtfully incorporated their love of dance and art into the day through subtle ways, including their beautifully choreographed first dance.

We're Expecting Baby #2!!

I can't believe I've been able to keep this secret this long -- it's seemed like an eternity to reach this point - the second trimester of pregnancy!! It's also surreal to actually be sharing this with you. I never thought we'd be given another chance to have a child.

We've been trying to grow for our family for over two years. What we thought might take just a few months turned into a journey we could never have imagined. Months of trying, a positive test, a subsequent miscarriage. Heartbreak. Over a year of trying again. A diagnosis of infertility. Heartbreak. Testing, pokes, prods, tears. Heartbreak.  Injections, medicine, a failed IUI. Heartbreak. Giving up. Heartbreak again. And then unexpectedly, against all odds, our miracle : a positive pregnancy test.

It's been a painful journey to reach this point. When we finally saw those two pink lines we were reserved. With each ultrasound, each check up we became more and more hopeful, reassured that this was really happening. Someday I may share more about our journey with secondary infertility, but for now here we are. 16 weeks pregnant and delighted to be awaiting the arrival of our new addition later this year!!

Farm Engagement Session on Boston's North Shore

I first met Jared & Willoughby at Willoughby's family home, a sprawling working farm on Boston's North Shore. They will be getting married at this beautiful place later this summer and it was important to them for me to experience it for myself. I absolutely love how personal this place is to the couple, especially Willoughby, and how they are thoughtfully planning their wedding day to reflect their personal connection to the farm along with its beautiful natural backdrop.

When it came time for their engagement session it made sense to explore the farm. We meandered through the tall tree groves and winding stone wall lined drives on a glorious summer evening. Just spending a few minutes here its easy to understand why Willoughby and Jared feel such a connection to this place.

Jared and Willoughby thank you for inviting me to this place, a place that means so much to you. I can't wait for August!! Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!!

Estate at Moraine Farm Wedding | Elissa & Scott

Elissa & Scott's wedding was a dream. I had been looking forward to their wedding ever since Elissa first inquired with me last spring. I loved her vision of a soft, romantic vibe amongst the beautiful gardens of Moraine Farm. She shares my love of flowers and I just adored her effortless style. All of these things she brought into the wedding day, bringing together a beautiful and timeless celebration.

But beyond the stylish details, Elissa & Scott ensured that their day stayed grounded in personal touches and the importance that this day held for them and their families. There were many happy tears, reminiscing, celebration and laughter. It was a day filled with all the beautiful emotions and feelings a wedding day can bring -- it was a delight to photograph.

There are so many favorites I'd love to share, I had a hard time narrowing them down!! Enjoy this highlight of their flower filled, garden inspired wedding!!

Engagement Session at Greenwood Farm, Ipswich

As we walked Greenwood Farm in Ipswich, both Jenny and exclaimed that it felt like were walking onto the set of Anne of Green Gables. And by pure chance I edited their images watching the new Netflix version, Anne with an E - and I have to say it really did feel as though we were in Avonlea!

Jenny and Bradley are both dancers and my hope was that their engagement session felt fresh, light and hinted at their creative and artistic backgrounds. (Plus add in some romance too ;)) We spent an amazing evening exploring Greenwood Farm, a place filled with rustic charm and natural beauty. It truly felt magical.

Bradley & Jenny, I cannot wait to celebrate with you this weekend as you say "I Do!" Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement!!

Woodland Engagement Session on Boston's North Shore

Tish and Obie love the great outdoors (Obie is from Alaska afterall :)) and so they wanted their engagement session to fit that woodland vibe that they feel so comfortable in. After chatting with them about their session, I knew the perfect place!! Hidden away near my home is an area that is almost magical, filled with tall pine trees and the quiet that only the woods can bring.

I absolutely LOVED hanging out with these two who spent our entire time together laughing. I don't think that vibrant smile ever left Tish's face. Being around that kind of love is infectious and joyful and all the amazing adjectives you can think of to describe it. Certainly made me incredibly excited for their wedding later this year!! Enjoy several of my favorite images!!

Newport Beach House Wedding

I knew that Alli & Brendan's wedding day would be nothing short of chic and elegant with a touch of nautical inspired design and it did not disappoint!! They day was filled with beautiful touches that highlighted the seaside vibe of Newport and reflected the couple's effortless style. Don't miss Alli's amazing Tiffany blue stacked heels -- swoon!!

The couple celebrated their wedding day in Newport, a charming and historical port city. They were one of the first couples to marry at the brand new Newport Beach House which offered sweeping views of the ocean. It was a delight to step right on to the beach from the patio and enjoy the ocean breeze throughout the day. While it may have been seasonably chilly for Memorial Day, it never dampened the cheerful spirit of the day!!

Alli & Brendan are two incredibly down to earth people. While extremely accomplished in their own right, they stay grounded in their love for family and each other. It was a joy to document their wedding day and to celebrate alongside their loved ones. It was a day filled with happy tears, laughter and LOTS of dancing!! Thank you Alli & Brendan for your kind and generous spirit!! It was a blast to be a part of your day!!
