Though downsized from their original plan, Colby & Jen made sure that every moment of their wedding day was magical – and it truly was. Their joy to be together is infectious and the intimate nature of their celebration meant that they could share that joy with each guest who attended. To witness the small and big moments they celebrated together was such an honor and made capturing their day so much fun.

Each with close ties to the North Shore, Colby & Jen chose details and locations that reflect this unique part of Massachusetts. Jen got ready in the home she and Colby share together, a historic carriage house with classic New England touches. Colby prepped for the day at his childhood home not far from the beach and their venue.

For the ceremony and reception Colby & Jen chose the Singing Beach Club, a private beach club located directly on the shore of Singing Beach. The club’s location provides sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and offers a classic beach club feel with accents of vibrant navy and crisp white. The manicured and private grounds were an intimate respite for their ceremony and cocktail party on the lawn. With a paired down guest list Colby & Jen were able to greet each of their guests, sharing laughs and hugs with deep appreciation to be together.

Some of my favorite moments of the year were captured during Jen & Colby’s celebration – the genuine joy and happiness to celebrate amidst such an uncertain and challenging year was an honor to photograph.
