Journal

Month Five So I wrote out a whole post about how amazing Jonathan is, how he’s changed out life, how I can’t imagine life without him…and then I never hit save. But I know I sound like a broken record these days so I’ll save the ooing and aahing over my baby and just share […]

A Wequassett Resort and Golf Club Wedding There is nothing quite like the charm of a Cape Cod wedding. And Lauren and Patrick’s wedding at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club last weekend fit the bill perfectly. Navy blue blazers, preppy Vineyard Vine ties, a lace detailed dress, clear blue skies and an ocean view, […]

As the Bridal Party rode the trolley from the ceremony to the reception, one of Katie’s favorite songs came on and she let loose. Hands raised she sang along at the top of her lungs, her joy was simply infectious. Kevin, dressed his formal tux, laughed as his new wife enjoyed every minute of her newlywed bliss. You couldn’t help but to be caught up in the happiness they shared to be married.

It’s rare that I don’t meet a couple until their wedding day, but Saturday was the first time I met Kevin and Katie. And to this self admitted introvert, that can be intimidating. But Katie and Kevin, along with their beautiful families, have a special way of welcoming you in and making you feel like one of their own. Though the ballroom was filled with people it felt more like an intimate gathering of good friends. Every minute of their wedding was a celebration filled with joyful people who wanted nothing more than to share their happiness with you.

I often joke that I married Dave for his sister. Being an only child I just love having a sister, someone to get my nails done with, someone to be girly with, the sister I always wanted. I simply adore the extended family I gained when I became Dave’s wife. That’s the way it is […]

Two Months Old Sooooooo. Life has been crazy the past few days. I mean I don’t know what day it is, is it morning or night? kind of crazy. There are some big things happening for our family right now (hopefully more to come soon! and no, we’re not pregnant;)). It’s taken our life and […]

** Today I’m going to share Jonathan’s birth story. I promise it won’t be too graphic, but it’s certainly a story that I want to share! There are a few “gooey” photos towards the end, but I promise there’s nothing that will leave you traumatized!**  When we arrived at the hospital over a week ago […]

Life As A Family Of Three We’re home!! After almost a week in the hospital we finally found our way home (plus one!) on Saturday evening. To be able to sleep in your own bed has been nothing short of glorious. And while we are awoken every two hours this time it’s to a crying […]

A Farm Themed Nursery Blame it on Pottery Barn, but as soon as I saw this toy I knew exactly what I wanted to do for our little guy’s room! I’ll admit when we first found out that we were having a boy I was a little sad. Ok, a lot of sad. BUT thankfully […]
