I relish any opportunity to visit Texas so when my dear friend Amy asked if I’d travel west to photograph their darling family I jumped at the chance!! On a very foggy afternoon we headed into Austin to visit beautiful Laguna Gloria. It’s an eclectic mix of Texas charm and Mediterranean flair — I had to keep reminding myself we weren’t on the Italian coast!! I could have stayed in their lovely gardens all day, filled with Spanish moss, ferns and palm trees. We roamed the property and spent a glorious time together. What’s more romantic than a floral crown, a flowy pink dress and Spanish moss?! Extra exciting bonus? I did a hybrid of film & digital for their session!!

On an early January morning I met Alyssa & Younes in Copley Square for their engagement session. Since they live abroad, we had a small window of time when they would be visiting the states — we crossed our fingers for a sunny day and we were met with a beautiful and seasonally *warm* weather.
Alyssa and Younes were a delight — it was so much fun having the opportunity to get to know them both and witness the beautiful friendship they share together. Alyssa and Younes will wed in July in the Copley Square area so we had a wonderful time exploring this quintessential part of town. Enjoy some of my favorites from their lovely Copley Square engagement session!!

Diana and Ankur welcomed their darling baby girl Olivia into the world earlier this year. Being the Holidays and the start of a new year just around the corner, they wanted to celebrate their family of three with a portrait session in their home.
On a chilly December afternoon we snuggled up in Olivia’s nursery, a beautiful ode to all things pink, grey and cream. Olivia bounced in her crib, snuggled in her father’s arms and giggled at the silly sounds Mom would make to get her to smile. It was lovely time and I feel so thankful to have had the opportunity to meet and photograph this beautiful family.
At home sessions are some of my favorite to photograph. Clean, bring space where my clients can feel comfortable and relaxed. They are a mix of lifestyle and posed portraiture. But most important they focus on the deep connection my clients have to each other. And when I can capture that on my camera — well that’s the good stuff.
Thank you Diana & Ankur for welcoming me to your home!! Gosh those baby cheeks, they are the best!! Enjoy some of my favorite images!!
This dear family holds a very special place in my heart — they were one of my very first clients and have championed by business over the years. I’ve had the joy of photographing their love story, from anniversary session to maternity session and it’s been a delight to watch as their family has grown.
On an unseasonably cold and blustery fall afternoon I met up with this family of five at Laudholm Farm in Wells, Maine. As the sun set behind the clouds we played tag, bribed the kids with cookies and managed to get everyone to sit down for a few frames together 😉 Enjoy a few of my favorite images from their family session!

As the sun set over the city, Phoebe and Kevin were married in a heartfelt and intimate ceremony at the State Room overlooking the city skyline & Boston Harbor. Surrounded by their closest family and friends they committed their lives to one another, read their own vows and giggled together as their officiant recounted stories of their relationship. With the ring warming, a tradition where the wedding rings are passed to each guest, it felt like everyone has a small part in the beginning of their new chapter together.
Phoebe and Kevin’s day was an elegant affair, encompassing everything they loved about the city. Getting ready down town, having their first look at Post Office Square and then hosting their ceremony and reception overlooking the city’s skyline, Boston played a central part in their wedding day — the perfect setting for this couple who met here in Boston.
Phoebe & Kevin, thank you for inviting us to be a part of your day. We were honored to be there to photograph this next chapter of your life together!! Enjoy some of my favorite images!!
If fall in New England is magical then fall in the South End is perfection. Earlier this month I spent a lovely crisp fall afternoon with Emily & Nick exploring their beloved South End. Known for it’s boutique shops, amazing restaurants and charming brownstone apartments, the South End is filled with character, it was the perfect backdrop for their very Boston engagement session.
Just blocks from the hustle and bustle of downtown, the South End feels like a world away with a quiet neighborhood vibe. Emily and Nick just love this area of town and it was so fun walking through some of their favorite spots in the South End.
It was an absolutely BLAST hanging out with these two. Emily is never without her beautiful smile and Nick has the ability to make you feel like an old friend. Together they make a beautiful pair, not just in their hospitable spirit but in now they fit perfectly together.
Emily & Nick, thank you for treating me to such a fun afternoon with you!! Enjoy some of my favorite images from their beautiful South End engagement session!!
Emily & Dan chose to celebrate their belated first anniversary with an anniversary session at Willowdale Estate on Boston’s North Shore. I loved having the opportunity to re-connect with this sweet couple who tied the knot last summer. We roamed the beautiful grounds, enjoyed the glorious fall weather and reminisced about their beautiful wedding day on the South Shore (how was that over a year ago?!)
Emily & Dan have such great style — a cozy outfit to cuddle up in and a tailored dressed up look to celebrate in style!
I’m always thrilled to be asked to photograph past clients. Being able to be a part of their lives, to celebrate the milestones of marriage through the art of photography, is something I am incredibly grateful for.
Thank you Emily & Dan for asking me to help you celebrate your first anniversary!! Enjoy some of my favorite images!!
It rained and rained and rained and rained — then it rained some more. Hurricane Matthew made it’s appearance known this past Sunday with a day full of wet and blustery conditions. The rain came steady and didn’t let up until late until the evening. You know what they say though, rain is good luck on your wedding day!!
It rained on our wedding day and when the black storm clouds rolled in I cried big ugly tears. So I would have completely understood if the rain dampened Erica & Mark’s spirits this past Sunday. But when I walked into the getting ready suite at the Fairmont, instead of tears I was greeted with smiles and hugs and an ever cheerful Erica. No rain was going to quell her joy to be marrying the love of her life!!
I think that is one of the things that I love most about these two. They have a strong understanding about the things that are important to them in life — everything else comes second. No Hurricane was going to take that from them!! Luckily they chose the spectacular Fairmont Copley Plaza to host their wedding which offered a beautiful backdrop for their images. We stayed dry and warm inside, exploring all the unique corners of the luxurious lobby.
Erica and Mark — thank you again for inviting us to be a part of your day. We were honored to witness as you became Husband and Wife!! Enjoy some of my favorite images of the day!!
