As we walked Greenwood Farm in Ipswich, both Jenny and exclaimed that it felt like were walking onto the set of Anne of Green Gables. And by pure chance I edited their images watching the new Netflix version, Anne with an E – and I have to say it really did feel as though we were in Avonlea!

Jenny and Bradley are both dancers and my hope was that their engagement session felt fresh, light and hinted at their creative and artistic backgrounds. (Plus add in some romance too ;)) We spent an amazing evening exploring Greenwood Farm, a place filled with rustic charm and natural beauty. It truly felt magical.

Bradley & Jenny, I cannot wait to celebrate with you this weekend as you say “I Do!” Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement!!

Tish and Obie love the great outdoors (Obie is from Alaska afterall :)) and so they wanted their engagement session to fit that woodland vibe that they feel so comfortable in. After chatting with them about their session, I knew the perfect place!! Hidden away near my home is an area that is almost magical, filled with tall pine trees and the quiet that only the woods can bring.

I absolutely LOVED hanging out with these two who spent our entire time together laughing. I don’t think that vibrant smile ever left Tish’s face. Being around that kind of love is infectious and joyful and all the amazing adjectives you can think of to describe it. Certainly made me incredibly excited for their wedding later this year!! Enjoy several of my favorite images!!

On an early January morning I met Alyssa & Younes in Copley Square for their engagement session. Since they live abroad, we had a small window of time when they would be visiting the states — we crossed our fingers for a sunny day and we were met with a beautiful and seasonally *warm* weather.

Alyssa and Younes were a delight — it was so much fun having the opportunity to get to know them both and witness the beautiful friendship they share together. Alyssa and Younes will wed in July in the Copley Square area so we had a wonderful time exploring this quintessential part of town. Enjoy some of my favorites from their lovely Copley Square engagement session!!

If fall in New England is magical then fall in the South End is perfection. Earlier this month I spent a lovely crisp fall afternoon with Emily & Nick exploring their beloved South End. Known for it’s boutique shops, amazing restaurants and charming brownstone apartments, the South End is filled with character, it was the perfect backdrop for their very Boston engagement session.

Just blocks from the hustle and bustle of downtown, the South End feels like a world away with a quiet neighborhood vibe. Emily and Nick just love this area of town and it was so fun walking through some of their favorite spots in the South End.

It was an absolutely BLAST hanging out with these two. Emily is never without her beautiful smile and Nick has the ability to make you feel like an old friend. Together they make a beautiful pair, not just in their hospitable spirit but in now they fit perfectly together.

Emily & Nick, thank you for treating me to such a fun afternoon with you!! Enjoy some of my favorite images from their beautiful South End engagement session!!

I just love these two brave souls who got up before the sun for their early morning engagement session in the Public Gardens. Living in the Boston area they wanted their engagement session to be a reflection of quintessential Boston. But anyone who knows Boston knows that this part of town is filled with tourists and locals alike later into the day. So how do you go about making the Public Gardens look empty? Begin your session at 6am ;).

I love Erica & Mark’s go with the flow attitude — they are a confident couple who are comfortable in their own skin and have a deep connection to each other. Best friends. What a joy to photograph!!

Later this year they will be tying the knot in a quintessential Bostonian wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza (sensing a theme here?) I cannot wait to photograph this sweet couple again in a place that is near and dear to their hearts!!

We started Phoebe & Kevin’s session in their beautiful home followed by a walk through their neighborhood. Conversations on the front stoop, families at the playground, pups walking with their owners, it hardly felt like you were in the middle of the city. It’s a small oasis in a bustling part of town, a quaint and inviting place — it’s clear why Phoebe & Kevin love it so.

When I learned that Greg’s family home on Lake Winnipesaukee is where they spend most of their free time, where they escape to just breath – I knew that was where we had to have their engagement session. On a COLD and RAINY April morning I drove up into the mountains and met Greg and Sarah who were ending a long weekend away on the lake. There was a quietness, a peaceful energy to their private oasis on the lake and it was magical.

A Central Park Engagement Session Many people are shocked when I say this but around 50% of my clients live outside of the New England area. Washington D.C, New York and Chicago are some of the places that my clients call home. I LOVE it!! These are some of my favorite cities in the world […]
