I knew that Alli & Brendan's wedding day would be nothing short of chic and elegant with a touch of nautical inspired design and it did not disappoint!! They day was filled with beautiful touches that highlighted the seaside vibe of Newport and reflected the couple's effortless style. Don't miss Alli's amazing Tiffany blue stacked heels -- swoon!!
The couple celebrated their wedding day in Newport, a charming and historical port city. They were one of the first couples to marry at the brand new Newport Beach House which offered sweeping views of the ocean. It was a delight to step right on to the beach from the patio and enjoy the ocean breeze throughout the day. While it may have been seasonably chilly for Memorial Day, it never dampened the cheerful spirit of the day!!
Alli & Brendan are two incredibly down to earth people. While extremely accomplished in their own right, they stay grounded in their love for family and each other. It was a joy to document their wedding day and to celebrate alongside their loved ones. It was a day filled with happy tears, laughter and LOTS of dancing!! Thank you Alli & Brendan for your kind and generous spirit!! It was a blast to be a part of your day!!Read More
This morning I am so excited to announce the winner of The Best of 2011 | Vote For Your Favorite contest that was held over on my Facebook page last week:) (If you haven't become a fan, Like today and stay up to date on all things Deborah Zoe Photo:)) I was so overwhelmed at the response to this end of the year round up! It was so fun receiving notification after notification as your friends and family voted and commented on all your images. It was even more fun to read what people wrote under each image and feeling the love your family and friends have for each one of you!
While I wish I could have picked everyone, there could only be one winner. So without further delay, the winner of their very own canvas for their home is....drum roll please.....

There is just TOO much goodness to share with you in one post. Jared and Kristen's wedding at Ballard's Inn has been one of my all time favorite weddings. The ocean, the sun, the relax atmosphere all came together to create one beautiful and fun wedding. It days, like this past Saturday, that I realized I have one of the best jobs ever. I get to work with amazing couples, travel to beautiful destinations all over New England (and beyond) photograph beautiful details, and document one of the most important days of a person's life. It's such and honor and joy to be able to experience that time with my clients. Jared and Kristen, thank you so much for inviting me along for the journey. I wish you nothing but happiness in the years ahead! Oh and a super special thank you to Alicia for making the journey out with me:) Make sure to come back tomorrow to see the rest of their wedding and to find about all their fabulous vendors:)!
Weddings like Jared and Kristen's this past Saturday are the reason why I am a New England wedding photographer. The ocean, the sand, the warm summer breezes. If I could bottle up what it is like to live in on the ocean in New England I would. There is something special, no magical, about the coast. I am in love. Jared and Kristen decided to have a New England destination wedding. Something a little bit different than your regular wedding affair. An outdoor ceremony, an outdoor reception, right on the water's edge of Block Island at Ballard's Inn. I cannot WAIT to share more with you later this week, but for now I'll tease you with these images:) Enjoy!
