What seems like months ago I received a sweet email from Amanda who is a talented New England photographer, graphic designer and art director. She was looking for updated portraits for her web site and branding. I'm always honored to be asked by other creatives to collaborate together so I quickly jumped at the chance to photograph her portraits!! Well wouldn't you know a few weeks later she emailed me again, this time asking if her husband Mathew could join us turning the shoot into an anniversary session. Then guess what happened? A few weeks later Amanda emailed me AGAIN this time to tell me... THEY WERE PREGNANT!!
What started out as a simple head shot request turned into something so much more!! To celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary and the pending arrival of their newest family member, Mathew and Amanda met me at one of my all time favorite venues, the Crane Estate in Ipswich, for a relaxed portrait session together. I adore having the opportunity to provide anniversary sessions for couples, they are such a special way to celebrate the accomplishment of commitment and marriage, and this session did not disappoint!! Immediately I connected with Amanda and Mathew and relished having them in front of my camera. They are so incredibly sweet together and it was a joy to help them celebrate such a milestone in their marriage!!
So would you give Amanda and Mathew standing ovation on such an accomplishment: ten years of marriage!! Congratulations you two, I was honored to help you celebrate the joy your marriage brings (and your little one on the way!!) Enjoy your images!!
How cute are they?!I bet you would never have guessed that there were "killer" bees the size of birds swirling around us now would you?!
