Jason and Amanda, what can I say, they are go getters?! These two have been BUSY BUSY BUSY during this first year of marriage. In addition to buying a home these two love birds will be celebrating the arrival of their first baby this fall. It's certainly been a non stop and exciting season of life, but what better way to celebrate all the GOOD than with their First Anniversary! What crazy stories they'll be able to tell their children:). Join with me in applauding Jason and Amanda in accomplishing so much in their first year and read all about what they've learned along the way. Happy Anniversary, here's to many more crazy years together (and maybe a sibling or two for baby girl;)).D -- Happy anniversary! I simply cannot believe that it has been a year since your wedding!! Has time flown by for you too?

J&A -- Time has definitely flown by! I can't believe we were finalizing our wedding plans just a year ago...D -- What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?

J&A -- Oh, it's hard to pick just one :) When I asked Jason, he said his favorite was our First Look and I'd have to agree! I am so glad we decided to carve out time for just Jason and I before our ceremony. It definitely calmed our nerves. And speaking of ceremony - we totally LOVED ours! It was uniquely "us" and truly told our personal love story. Jason also loved that we decided to escape back to our room about half an hour before the reception ended. We got to watch everyone leave in secret from our balcony;).D -- What has been the best thing that has happened to you as a couple since your wedding last year?

J&A -- Finding out that we will be adding to our family in October - Jason & I are having a little girl!!! We can't wait to share our love with our little bundle of joy.D -- What have you learned about each other over this past year?

J&A -- That you shouldn't buy a house and do major renovations on it AND also get pregnant all within the first year of marriage, lol;)! But seriously, we decided to take on a lot of new challenges all within our first year of marriage, but that's our personality. We learned that working together as a team is the only way to do it! At the end of the day, it's so comforting knowing that your number one is right there next to you and always has your back. I wouldn't want to be on this adventure with anyone else!D -- Traveled anywhere fun?

J&A -- We took a mini moon right after our wedding to Kennebunkport and waited until December for our longer honeymoon. St John, USVI was definitely worth the wait! We loved it there and can't wait to go back someday. We also traveled to Anna Maria Island in Florida for a friend's wedding and that was beautiful too.D -- Any tips you can offer newlyweds for their first year of marriage?

J&A -- Your wedding ring is not a magical thing that makes all arguments disappear, but it is a symbol of the commitment you made and that you'll do anything to keep. We found that communication is huge! We (like most people) have very busy lives, so making sure that we set aside time for just the two of us is key to fostering our relationship. We want to be one of those couples in their 90's that still holds hands & kisses goodnight! You have to work at that, but it's so worth it :)
