Earlier this month I had the honor to work alongside my friend and fellow photographer, Emilia Jane, as her second photographer. I had been looking for an opportunity to work in Chicago (we have family and friends out west) and I absolutely LOVE the city and couldn’t wait to shoot a wedding there! When Emilia […]

When I first “met” with Debbie over Skype to talk about her wedding day, the first thing she mentioned to me was that if she was going to get married in January then she wanted a winter wonderland. And despite the crazy weather New England can create, I thought for sure that would happen. Wouldn’t […]
Eight Months Old Jonathan celebrated his eight month birthday on December 30th. Oh eight months, what changes you have brought! Jonathan grew like a WEED, seemingly overnight. His personality shines through these days too and I’m happy to say he is one smiley, bubbly, baby boy. At Christmas he pulled himself for the first time […]

Seven Months Old Seven months old? I have a seven month old?!! How did this happen? Well, ok I know how it happened, but I simply cannot believe that I have a seven month old. There have been times this past month where I have stopped and paused, looking at Jonathan and wondering how he […]
Michael and Samantha first met when they were young and living in New England. But it took a chance meeting in Chicago for the sparks to fly and love to blossom. Every since reconnecting as adults Michael and Sam have been by each other’s side and have a built a life together in the Windy […]

Month Five So I wrote out a whole post about how amazing Jonathan is, how he’s changed out life, how I can’t imagine life without him…and then I never hit save. But I know I sound like a broken record these days so I’ll save the ooing and aahing over my baby and just share […]
A Wequassett Resort and Golf Club Wedding There is nothing quite like the charm of a Cape Cod wedding. And Lauren and Patrick’s wedding at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club last weekend fit the bill perfectly. Navy blue blazers, preppy Vineyard Vine ties, a lace detailed dress, clear blue skies and an ocean view, […]
As the Bridal Party rode the trolley from the ceremony to the reception, one of Katie’s favorite songs came on and she let loose. Hands raised she sang along at the top of her lungs, her joy was simply infectious. Kevin, dressed his formal tux, laughed as his new wife enjoyed every minute of her newlywed bliss. You couldn’t help but to be caught up in the happiness they shared to be married.
It’s rare that I don’t meet a couple until their wedding day, but Saturday was the first time I met Kevin and Katie. And to this self admitted introvert, that can be intimidating. But Katie and Kevin, along with their beautiful families, have a special way of welcoming you in and making you feel like one of their own. Though the ballroom was filled with people it felt more like an intimate gathering of good friends. Every minute of their wedding was a celebration filled with joyful people who wanted nothing more than to share their happiness with you.
