I love working with black and white images. Maybe it’s because I learned photography through black and white film work. Maybe it’s because some of the first photographers I became familiar with worked in black and white. Perhaps it’s the simplicity of a black and white image that draws me in the most.

So when a client comes to me and shares that they love black and white images, the creative in my heart soars. I delighted in creating a collection of black and white images for this family as they welcomed their son home.

Even after all these years I still find see and appreciate the magic of a still frame, a simple black and white image and the power photography has to share the story of life.
