I first met Younes & Alyssa for their Boston engagement session three years ago. It was one of the coldest days of the year and poor Younes, who hails from Morocco, didn’t exactly know what to make of his wedding photographer dragging him all around Boston in the frigid temperatures. But despite the near zero degree temps, Younes and Alyssa rocked their time in front of the camera and to this day it remains one of my favorite engagement sessions.

Since then I’ve been lucky enough to stay in touch with this lovely family capturing their wedding day at the Mandarin Oriental and then later the arrival of their sweet girl. This past summer while visiting the states, Younes and Alyssa met me at Singing Beach in Manchester-by-the-Sea for an updated family portrait. We spent a beautiful evening digging our toes in the sand and running from the waves. It was the perfect summer activity and a joy to capture the delight in their baby’s eyes as she cuddled with Dad and felt the ocean between her toes.

Whether celebrating an anniversary, the birth of a child or a growing family, it is an honor to be invited into the lives of my couples to document the many new seasons they experience together.
