When I first “met” with Debbie over Skype to talk about her wedding day, the first thing she mentioned to me was that if she was going to get married in January then she wanted a winter wonderland. And despite the crazy weather New England can create, I thought for sure that would happen. Wouldn’t you know it snowed over two feet just two weeks before her wedding day. But then it was 50 degrees and it all melted away. No more winter wonderland. It even rained Saturday morning, dashing all hopes for snow.
Ah, New England weather is unpredictable though and as it rained that morning, something magical started to happen. The rain slowly turned into snow!! And not just any snow, the biggest, fluffiest, snowiest flakes you have ever seen!! It started and didn’t stop until late Saturday night. Debbie most certainly got her winter wonderland!!
Debbie and James were married in Willowdale’s atrium, underneath a beautiful birch chuppah and in front of their dearest and closest friends and family. With tears they recounted how they first met, how they fell in love and how they promised the rest of their life to each other. It was emotional and beautiful and a joy to witness.
Of course the night could only be capped by Willowdale’s famous house made cookies!
Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of such a special day!! We absolutely adored meeting your loved ones and celebrating with you!! Enjoy your images!!
